- Memorial Service: The memorial service for Sister Betty Lu will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. - Winter Camp 2025 Announcement: We are excited to announce that Winter Camp 2025 is in the works! This year’s camp will be a 4-day, 3-night retreat, to be held sometime during the week of December 28, 2025, to January 3, 2026. The exact dates and campsite will be confirmed soon. The theme for this year is “Christ Is Our Life.” In this generation where secular values often shape how we live and think, we want to be reminded and grounded in this truth—that Christ Himself is our life and the foundation of true Christian living. While our primary aim is to nurture and train up the young people in our church, this will also be a family camp, and we warmly encourage parents to join together with their children. We will have in-house speakers sharing God’s Word, as well as recreational activities to strengthen fellowship and refresh our spirits. More details will be announced once the venue is secured. In the meantime, we invite everyone to block out your schedule and plan to attend. Even if you are unable to join us, please pray for the preparation and ministry of this Winter Camp—that the Lord will use it to touch lives and draw hearts closer to Him. “When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” – Colossians 3:4
- 2026 Calendars: The 2026 Fine Chinese Scripture Wall Calendars and “Footprints of Jesus” Desk Calendars Have Arrived!
Prices remain the same as last year — $9 each or 3 for $25 (tax included). You may mix and match wall and desk calendars. Quantities are limited, so those who wish to purchase, please visit the book table after the meeting. - Parking: We continue to reserve our church parking spaces on Sunday for the elderly, those with children and those with special needs. We are grateful to the Lord that our brothers have secured permission from Dr. Howard Chen’s Orthodontics clinic for the use of his parking lot at 318 N Garfield Ave., which is conveniently located on the same side as our church and adjacent to Dim Sum Express. Please click here for reference. The lot offers 30 parking spaces, and we encourage all congregants to fully utilize these spaces. Please ensure that you park within the designated lines, lock your doors and windows, refrain from leaving valuables in your vehicles, and maintain cleanliness in the parking area. This arrangement is available every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
