The questions are in the order of the verses with similar ones grouped together.

Chapter 1 Questions

  1. Adult (Titus 1): Paul’s opening salutation is packed with truth. What does he say here about his own calling (verses 1-2)? What does he reveal here about the character of God (verses 2-3)?
  2. P-PIE-Ahs (Titus 1): What characteristics of God does Paul high light in the beginning of the letter of the introduction? And why do you think these characteristics of God are important? What is Paul trying to emphasize?
  3. Youth (Titus 1): What was the work that was instructed for Titus?
  4. College (Titus 1): What’s the difference between blameless and sinless? (vs. 6)
  5. Youth (Titus 1): Please define faithful/obedient children in v6 for a pastor. Obedient to God, or parents? Or both?
  6. Youth (Titus 1): Paul listed the qualities that an elder/ pastor should have. Should other believers strive to have these qualities? why or why not?”
  7. P-PIE-Ahs (Titus 1): Does this passage remind you about another place in the bible where we talked about Elders? Please indicate the Bible reference. Compare and Contrast the overseers or elders between these passages.
  8. Adult (Titus 1): According to Paul, what are the positive traits of an Elder/Overseer/Bishop? And what should an Elder/Overseer/Bishop avoid doing? (verses 5-14)?
  9. College (Titus 1): Have you ever been involved in refuting someone who opposes the Bible? Should such refuting be a part of the Christian life? (vs. 9)
  10. Adult (Titus 1): What is to be the church leadership’s response to false teachers (verses 10-14)?
  11. Youth (Titus 1): Who are the pure and unbelieving in v15? Give examples of how pure people think everything is pure whilst unbelieving think that everything is defiled.

Chapter 2 Questions

  1. Youth (Titus 2): Is every right doctrine sound doctrine? What is Paul referring to by “Sound” doctrine? (V1)
  2. P-PIE-Ahs (Titus 2): In verse 4, Why did Paul not command Titus to teach to young women, but instead let the older women to urge/teach younger women?
  3. P-PIE-Ahs (Titus 2): In verse 4 and 5 it seems as if the older women are to teach younger women who are married. Does that mean younger women who are single are exempt from being taught by older women?
  4. Adult (Titus 2): What are the teachings for young men? (V.6-8) [clarify – this question could include Titus as an example to the young men]
  5. Youth (Titus 2): “What are some things we can practice as a church so that our teaching shows integrity, seriousness, and soundness of speech? (v7)
  6. Youth (Titus 2): How can we show integrity, seriousness, and soundness of speech in our teaching? Give Examples.
  7. P-PIE-Ahs (Titus 2): What are the slaves to teach their master? (v10b)
  8. College (Titus 2): In relation to masters/slaves relationship (v9-10), does this command apply to child slavery or sex trafficking? Why or why not?
  9. Adult (Titus 2): When did the grace of God teach you to say NO to ungodliness and worldly passions? How has your life changed as a result? (V.11-14)
  10. College (Titus 2): What are the mark(s) of His people (v14)?
  11. College (Titus 2): How does our Savior Jesus Christ purify us (v14)?

Chapter 3 Questions

  1. Adult (Titus 3): What did Paul ask Titus to remind the people to do? In the present day, who do we need to submit to and why (verse1-3)?
  2. P-PIE-Ahs (Titus 3): Which authorities do you have the most difficult time submitting to? Why? What if the authorities are not Christian?
  3. P-PIE-Ahs (Titus 3): How can you “be ready for every good work?” What does this imply about how we should approach each day of our life?
  4. Youth (Titus 3): What motivates us to do good?
  5. College (Titus 3): What does “washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit” mean? (v.5)
  6. College (Titus 3): What do “these things” refer to? (v.8) How are these things excellent and profitable to everyone?
  7. Adult (Titus 3): What is the great salvation Titus remind them of? How? (verse 4-8)
  8. Youth (Titus 3): How does doing good deeds become beneficial for us(v8)
  9. Youth (Titus 3): Why do we need to give first and 2nd warning?(v10)
  10. Adult (Titus 3): Why must the people learn how to devote themselves to doing what is good (verse 14)?
