Parable of Lost Things, Which Are Found

Scriptures: Luke 15:1-3, Luke 15:4, 8, 11, Luke 19:10

1) THE PARABOLIC METHOD OF THE MESSIAH

a) Matthew 13:34-35 – His method of teaching
b) Mark 4:10-11 – The FOCUS of the ‘parabolē’
c) Luke 13:18 – The Kingdom is the ‘focus’ of the parables in order for us to come to “…know the mystery (hidden truth) of the kingdom”.

Luke 15:1-2
“Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.”
