Keep Watch and Be Alert

Scriptures: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

Outline:

1. The day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night

2. Our outlook:

a. We are all sons of light and sons of day vs. We are not of night nor of darkness
b. Our Be alert and sober vs. Sleep and get drunk

3. Our behavior

a. Put on the breastplate of faith and love
b. Put on the helmet, the hope of salvation through our Lord Jesus, who died for us
c. Whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him
d. Encourage one another and build up one another

1. In-Person Meeting: Welcome back! English group, Chinese group and children Sunday School is back to in person meetings starting 12/4. 7. Bible Reading Plan: For 2022 Bible-in-a-year reading, we will be reading a chronological plan. We will follow “Wondered by the Word — The Bible in a Year” and will read through the Bible in a year, chronologically. With a reading plan, we can keep one another accountable in our Bible reading.
