I Am the Door and the Good Shepherd

Scriptures: John 10:1-18

A. Jesus Is The DOOR. (10:1-10)

​1. Jesus Uses a Figure of Speech to Address the Crowd. (vs. 1-6)
​2. Jesus Explains His Figure of Speech. (vs. 7-10)

​​a. Jesus identifies who the thieves and robbers are. (v. 8)
​​b. Jesus Introduces Himself as the Door of the Sheep. (vs. 7, 9)

B. Jesus is the GOOD SHEPHERD. (vs. 11-18)

​1. The Good Shepherd Lays Down His Life for the Sheep. (vs. 11-13)
​2. The Good Shepherd Knows His Sheep and vice Versa. (vs. 14-15)
​3. The Good Shepherd Has Other Sheep Outside of His Sheepfold. (v. 16)
