Do Not Harden Your Hearts, Consider Jesus

Scriptures: Heb 3:1-19

I. Consider Jesus (v1)

1. Consider Jese, the Apostle
2. Consider Jese, our High Priest

II. Compare Jesus to Moses (v3-6)

1. Moses was faithful as servant, Jesus is faithful as a son (v5-6)
2. Jesus is worthy of greater honor than Moses (v3-4)

III. Caution against unbelief (v7-12)

1. The example (v7-11)
2. The warning (v12)

IV. Course of action (v13)

1. Encourage one another everyday
2. The time is “Today”

V. Condition of the Israelites (v16-19)

1. They provoke or rebel against God. (v16)
2. They sinned against God. (v17)
3. They disobey or defy God. (v18)
4. Their unbelief or faithlessness toward God. (v19)
