Jesus is Equal with God

Scriptures: John 5:16-30

I. Accusations of the Jewish leaders (16-18)

1. He was healing people on Sabbath day.
2. He called God his own Father making himself Son of God.
3. He is making himself equal to God.

II. The answer of Jesus (19-23)

1. He is working just as the Father is working.
2. He is doing what He sees the Father is doing.
3. The Father is showing Jesus what He is doing
4. The Father gives life to the dead so is the Son.
5. The Father entrusted all judgment to him.
6. Honor the Son as you would honor the Father.

III. The concluding message of Jesus (24-30)
