Easter and Me

Scriptures: Romans 3:23, John 3:16, Act 16:31, Hebrews 16:8, John 6:47, Matt 26:2, Rom 1:16, 18, 11:29, John 1:12, 6:40, 1 Cor 15:42

I. Everyone – Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

II. Anyone – John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

III. Salvation – Acts 16:31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

IV. Today – Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Romans 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

V. Everlasting Life – John 6:47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.
John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

VI. Resurrection = John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
1 Corinthians 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.

VII. Acronym: Everyone, Anyone, Salvation, Today, Everlasting life, Resurrection.
