1. What do you think might have been in Mary’s mind when she saw the empty tomb? (v. 1-2)
2. What do you think the two disciples had in mind when they ran to the tomb? (v. 4)
3. Why do you think the disciples still did not understand the resurrection of Jesus from the point of view of the Scripture? (v. 9)
3. What did Mary think of the two angels she saw in the tomb of Jesus? (v. 11)
4. Why was Mary able to recognize Jesus first, but was able to recognize Jesus later? (v. 14-16)
5. What do you think Jesus meant when He said He had to ascend to heaven to see His Father-God? And what does it mean that the Father-God of Jesus is our Father-God. (v. 17)
