Paul’s Pilgrim’s Progress
Scriptures: Philippians 3:13-16
I. Paul’s Pilgrim’s Progress – press on toward the goal.
- April 3 – April 5, 33 A.D. – Jesus Christ was crucified, died, and rose from the dead on the 3rd day. He ascended to heaven 40 days after His resurrection.
- Summer 35 A.D. Pual’s conversion
- Paul visited Jerusalem five times.
- June 57 A.D. – August 59 A.D. Paul was imprisoned in Caesarea.
- August 59 – February 62 A.D.
Paul finally arrived in Rome and was imprisoned there.
Spring 62 A.D. Paul finished writing the Book of Philippians and soon after was released from prison. - Autumn 67 A.D. Paul was imprison in Rome again
While he was in prison, he wrote 2 Timothy 4:7-8
II. Paul’s heavenly hope – to receive the crown of righteousness.
- Spring 68 A.D. Paul was martyred
– Paul was comforted in Abraham’s bosom (see Luke 16:22-25) and waiting to receive “the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” – which is the crown of glory. - Afterward, Paul, with all the saints, will enter the new heaven and new earth, the Holy City Jerusalem.
- May today’s believers sing and echo this song with the saints of old.

- In-Person Meeting: Welcome back! English group, Chinese group and children Sunday School is back to in person meetings. Our meeting schedule has changed, Sunday morning starts 9:15AM with Breaking of Bread followed by worship and message at 10:00AM. Please refer to the schedule for details.
- Prayer Meeting: Prayer Meetings are Tuesdays from 8:00 to 9:15PM, joining via Webex for the combined session of the meeting (Meeting number: 6 2 7 5 6 4 2 7 4 Password: 4 0 0 0). We are using Zoom for the English group session, please reach out to Richer for login information.
